Embarrassed by Night, the standup comedy showcase and podcast celebrating Vietnamese-American culture, is making its San Francisco debut as part of SF Sketchfest, bringing together some of the festival's finest AAPI talent to help ring in 2024's Year of the Dragon.

Created in 2022 by Bay Area-native comics Fred Le and Andy Van, Embarrassed by Night is a touring comedy show that combines standup comedy, music, and sketch to all types of venues to share love of the Vietnamese culture through laughs and tunes. The show pays homage to "Paris by Night", the spectacular Vietnamese variety show from the '80s and '90s whose ubiquitous video tapes helped bring immigrant families closer together. With guests Misha Han, Mike Lane, Denise Lee, Jacqui Marpa and Jerry Tran. ($28, All Ages)
