Chris Smith: Acting in a Time Such as This
In his new one-man show, actor Chris Smith asks the tough questions like, “With so many terrible things going on, should I keep being an actor? If not, what should I be? A doctor? Do you realize how long that would take?” He discusses the principles of talking and moving around in front of a camera, and has an incredible realization: not only should he keep acting, but it’s probably the most important thing anyone could do right now.

Chris Smith is an actor and writer. His credits include "Paranormal Activity 3," "Out of Office," "The Office," "The Moody’s" and "Friends from College" among others. You can see him in this coming season of "Miracle Workers" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm." He writes for film and TV and his latest film "Sacramento," is currently in production and stars Michael Angarano, Michael Cera, Kristen Stewart and Maya Erskin. 

Director Emily Pendergast is an actor, improvisor and director who is a company member at The Groundlings. Her TV and film acting credits include "VEEP," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Out of Office," "The Connors" and more.

Ryan Fisher (Dandy) Creator of award-winning LGBT Sketch comedy series "Enemies of Dorothy" (Here TV), Ryan hosts as Dandy, the Tiktok star and cabaret icon in Vancouver and Hollywood. He has 20 years of experience on the stage, and his film/tv credits include "The Mentalist" (CBS), "American Horror Story" (FX), "Demonhuntr" (Here TV), and "Midnight Club" (Netflix). 

Kristen Cook (Daniel): Since earning a vocal degree from Berklee College of Music, Kristen has had over 15 years of experience working in improv, voice over, musical theatre, as a recording artist, and has most recently added producer to her list of titles. Kristen produced the short film, Distance, which premiered at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA, and is currently producing and starring in "Bradley In Love", an original animated short.
